HI, I’M MONICA
I’m a UX designer passionate about creating thoughtful, scalable experiences that simplify complexity and empower users. After earning my Master’s in Human–Computer Interaction from Indiana University, I designed transformative products at Equinix, helping enterprise customers connect, monitor, and automate their digital infrastructure more intuitively.
My work blends design, technology, and business strategy to deliver measurable impact. I care deeply about designing with clarity, transparency, and trust, especially in systems where decisions are high-stakes and workflows are intricate.
Collaboration fuels my process. I thrive in interdisciplinary teams where diverse perspectives drive innovation and where thoughtful design can turn complex systems into cohesive, human-centered experiences.
Outside of work, I’m often watching films, gaming, cycling, or planning my next adventure—I’m an avid traveler who loves exploring new places and cultures that spark creativity and broaden perspective.
HOW I WORK?
Over the years, I’ve learned that designing a great feature isn't enough—what truly moves the needle is designing experiences that scale, connect, and endure.
As a systems thinker, I approach every challenge by zooming out first: What’s the bigger ecosystem this feature lives in? How will it evolve? Who else does it impact?
Whether I’m working on a complex enterprise workflow, a multi-role dashboard, or internal tooling, I always ask:
-
Are we repeating a pattern we’ve already solved?
-
Can this solution serve more than one use case?
-
What does this mean for future teams or edge cases?

I collaborate deeply across product and engineering to create reusable frameworks, design systems, and interaction patterns that bring clarity to complexity. My goal is to make the experience not only better for users—but also easier to build, extend, and maintain across teams.
This mindset has helped me drive design efforts that reduce fragmentation, accelerate development, and support long-term product growth.
